The Chase: Contestant makes VERY embarrassing blunder and leaves team fuming
THE CHASE fans noticed one of the contestants make an incredible embarrassing blunder on tonight’s episode.
The Chase contestant gets Sikhism with Hinduism confused
Tonight’s Chaser, Paul “The Sinnerman” Sinha, had an easy ride this evening, as the contestants were asked a selection of particularly difficult questions.
The team on tonight’s episode of The Chase were left with only two contestants to compete in the final chase, after Paul successfully caught two players.
One of the players to slip through the net, however, was 55-year-old Howard from Bradford.
The exam invigilator demonstrated a wide array of knowledge, ranging from history to biology.
However, despite his substantial knowledge, Howard exposed a blind spot in his memory, as a question about religion came up during his chase.
The Chase: Howard made an enormous blunder, did you notice it?
Presenter Bradley Walsh asked: “Representing the infinite, Hindu gods are often depicted with what colour skin? Blue, orange, or red.”
Wasting no time, Howard locked in an answer almost as fast as The Chaser.
Bradley revealed Howard's answer: “You have put red.”
Determined that his answer was correct, he explained: “I have been to a Sikh temple, and I seem to have a view that there was a lot of red.”
Bradley announced the correct answer: “Blue.”
The Chase: Howard was confident in his answer
Question about Hindu & he mentions Sikh?! #TheChase
The remaining members of Howard’s team looked on in disappointment, as they had realised the mistake he had made.
The Chaser had chosen the correct answer, blue, and went on to point out Howard’s error.
“Yeah, going to a Sikh temple to answer a question about Hinduism is probably not the way to go,” he teased.
Realising what he had done, Howard dropped his head as the audience laughed.
