BBC Breakfast: Dan Walker took a swipe at Carol Kirkwood
Dan Walker pretends he has FORGOTTEN Carol Kirkwood
The BBC journalist, 40, was joined by his co-host Louise Minchin, 49, to bring viewers the latest headlines this morning.
Weather presenter Sarah Keith-Lucas, 35, also appeared in the studio to update BBC Breakfast fans on the forecast for the coming days.
Revealing that rain this evening will clear away for a dry and chilly night tonight, with temperatures as low as minus four in southern areas, Sarah said that people will be facing a cold start tomorrow.
“Back to you both,” she concluded, as the shot cut to Dan and Louise sitting on the famous red sofa.

Dan asked weather presenter Sarah Keith-Lucas if she would be back on the show tomorrow
Turning to face the screen, Dan replied: “Thank you very much for that Sarah.
“Are you on again tomorrow?” he asked.
“You’ve got the lovely Carol Kirkwood back again tomorrow,” Sarah smiled, as the host made a confused noise.
“What? Who’s that?” he said, before bursting into laughter at his cheeky swipe.
“You remember her?” the weather presenter laughed.

Dan and Louise previously argued about gammon
“Sarah, it’s been lovely to spend the day with you,” he insisted, composing himself. “See you tomorrow — well, see you later in the week.”
Last week, Dan was left “appalled” by Louise’s opinion on what appeared to be a very controversial topic.
The pair clashed over the news that pub chain Wetherspoons had to stop selling all rump, sirloin and gammon steaks after a product recall.
The story sparked a heated debate between the presenters about whether or not it was acceptable to partner pineapple with gammon.
Dan tweeted his disappointment in Louise and she replied
When Louise failed to hide her disgust at the idea, Dan was quick to notice.
Later, he took to Twitter to tell his 494,000 followers: “Appalled by @louiseminchin’s dismissal of gammon this morning.
“Until you’ve experienced the power of gammon, chips, pineapple and a fried egg you haven’t lived,” he added.”
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays at 6am on BBC One.
