This Morning had won the gong for best Daytime show and the pair excitedly rushed onto the stage to thank their team and co-hosts.
“Oh my goodness, thank you so much,” Holly Willoughby exclaimed.
Co-host Phillip Schofield continued: “Thank you so much to everyone for voting, you have no idea what it means to us but also our amazing team.
“We love getting up very early in the mornings, even when it's really cold and dark so that we can work on a show that we’re so proud of and I can work with someone that I completely adore working with.”

What a devil!
Clutching their award, Holly gushed back: “I’m lucky to work with not only one of my best friends but as far as I’m concerned one of the best teams..,” before trailing off as she realised Bradley was on stage.
“Bradley Walsh!” she shouted. “What a devil!”
A stunned Phillip cried out: “When the hell did you join?”
Taking the opportunity to poke fun at The Chase presenter, Holly told the audience: “Bradley Walsh is our new doctor.

“He’s taking over sexual health so if anyone has an issue, come and speak to Doctor Brad.”
Bradley could be seen looking sheepish but later took his time leaving the stage as the This Morning team finished their acceptance speech.
The moment came after David Walliams took a swipe at his fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell.
Grasping his trophy for Best Judge, he declared: “I don’t look upon this as a victory for me. I look upon it as a humiliation for Simon Cowell.

“All he does is judge. He can’t sing and he can’t dance, he doesn’t tell jokes.
“He just sits there and says no to people all the time. We can all do that.”
The National Television Awards will be available to watch on the ITV Hub.
