The 69-year-old Royal Ballet School graduate has leaped four places ahead of Ginuwine, Jonny Mitchell, Rachel and Ashley James to win the title.
However it’s not all good news for Wayne, who is still a relative outsider, according to Betway.
Shane “Courtney Act” Janek is still the favourite to win outright and is currently priced at 4/5.
Ann Widdecombe comes in second at 11/4 and Shane Lynch has odds of 10/1.

Betway’s Alan Alger told Express.co.uk: “It’s been an eventful couple of days in the Big Brother house and Wayne Sleep has been right in the thick of it.
“He’s bringing plenty of cheer into the mix at the moment and his odds of winning the show have shortened significantly from 100/1 to 40/1.
“Watch out Courtney, Wayne is coming up on the rails!”
Speaking of tonight’s double elimination, Alan added: “It’s grim reading for Rachel Johnson who looks nailed on to leave at 1/8.
