The Chase: Chaser answers a question in the last second
The Chaser had his work cut out for him this evening, as an incredible team of three had to battle him off up to the final second.
Paul Sinha, also known as The Sinnerman, spent most of today’s episode quivering after three amazing players trounced him in each of their cash-builder rounds.
The first round garnered £8,000, with a mind-blowing performance by contestant Laura.
The Chaser called Laura: “One of the best players I have seen in years.”

With morale high, the second and third contestants, June and Alex, added another £11,000 to the prize pool, avoiding The Chaser at every turn.
Unfortunately the fourth member of the team, Todd, was caught out when he answered his final question incorrectly.
With a three-step head-start, the team gathered 20 steps in their round of the final chase, giving The Chaser just two minutes to answer 20 questions.
Throughout the time limit, The Chaser was pushed back three times by Laura, the final time at question 17 with ten seconds remaining.

Bradley instantly cut in: “Time is up! The money is yours, £19,000. Well played team.
“Bad luck Chaser, right on the button.”
