The National Television Awards will pay tribute to late Bruce Forsyth
THE shortlist for this year’s National Television Awards is revealed today, as the cream of British talent vie for honours.
The awards will pay tribute to Bruce Forsyth who died last August, aged 89
All eyes will be on Ant and Dec who are hoping to win their 17th best presenter prize.
The duo will be up against Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby and Bradley Walsh.
The BBC’s Line of Duty, and ITV’s Broadchurch and Little Boy Blue are nominated for best crime drama.
Taboo star Tom Hardy, David Tennant, Suranne Jones, Sheridan Smith and Jenna Coleman are in the running for the drama performance award.

Strictly Come Dancing’s tribute to Sir Bruce Forsyth
Now in their 23rd year, the awards will also pay tribute to Bruce Forsyth who died last August, aged 89.
The new Bruce Forsyth entertainment award has been launched in memory of the much-loved star.
Bruce Forsyth co-presented Strictly Come Dancing from 2004 to 2013, stepping down from hosting the BBC show in April 2014.
