DAWSON’S CREEK broke fans’ heart when it came to an end 14 years ago, however there could still be hope for a special if one of it’s original stars gets her wish.

Mary-Margaret Humes has revealed that she is eager to get the gang back together, including characters both alive and dead.
The actress, who portrayed Gail Leery from the start, would reprise her role in a heartbeat and thinks viewers could suspend their “disbelief”.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the 63-year-old detailed her “dream” reboot as the much-loved drama - complete with every single episode - launches on All 4.
“They talk about a reunion… who knows if we could recapture the innocence that was portrayed back then?” Mary-Margaret started.

I believe there's a way to suspend your disbelief and make all the characters come back to life
The television star continued: “I’m sure writers could come up with something that would fit the time. I’m hopeful that it will happen.”
Mary-Margaret went on to admit she wished she and her on-screen husband Mitch (played by John Wesley Shipp) had left the programme together.
The 62-year-old actor’s alter ego was killed off in a car accident back in 2001, which led to his son Dawson (James Van Der Beek) suffering from panic attacks, while Michelle Williams’ Jen Lindley died of a fatal heart condition.
“It really wasn’t my decision to make back then. I would’ve liked that,” Mary-Margaret said.

She added: “If they were to do a reunion show, I really believe there is a way to suspend your disbelief and make all the characters come back to life.
“That is a dream of mine - I hope that happens. I have no insight as to whether it will. It would have been nice for the Leerys to go out together.”
Dawson’s Creek seasons one to six are available on All 4 now.
