EASTENDERS fans were left baffled yesterday evening when the BBC soap accidentally revealed a major character was leaving before their exit scene had aired.

EastEnders: Shirley sends Tina to Spain for a few weeks
The official Twitter account for EastEnders shared a short clip of Tina Carter (played by Luisa Bradshaw-White) leaving Albert Square.
Shirley (Linda Henry) could be seen handing over her passport and encouraging her to take some time away in Spain.
Tina then reluctantly got into a waiting taxi and left Walford for the airport.
Accompanying the video, which was shared at 8.15pm, EastEnders wrote: "Is removing Tina from Walford a good idea? TAXI!"

Fans of the long-running BBC soap were quick to spot the gaffe and took to Twitter to point out the error.
One viewer shared: "Posted 10 minutes before it aired, because why not?! #EastEnders."
While another added: "Why is this only just airing?!"
"How do you make the mistake of tweeting a scene 10 MINUTES before it's even aired? #EastEnders," a third noted.

Last night's instalment also saw Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) make a shock discovery about his son Ben's (Harry Reid) new boyfriend.
The hardman learned that Luke Browning (Adam Astill) is actually the son of James Willmott-Brown (William Boyde), leaving him fearing for Ben's life.
