PRIDE OF BRITAIN had viewers in floods of tears during tonight’s awards ceremony, as they struggled to hold it together at the heart-wrenching tales.

The Pride of Britain Awards, broadcast on ITV, were designed to recognise and appreciate some of the many brave and impressive people trying to help others across the country.

The ceremony also saw Prince William present many emergency service officers with an award for their courageous work during the Grenfell Tower fire earlier this year.
“I couldn’t be prouder of what you’ve all achieved and done together, that is why I’m so pleased that you’ve won this award tonight,” he said.
