Host Zoe Ball was forced to clarify how old she was on when guest Tom Allen joked that she was 98, while appearing on the Friday panel with Lisa Riley and Martine McCutcheon.
The comedian left his co-stars in shock amusement after his comment on Paul Daniels’ widow, who has topped the leaderboard for the past two weeks.
The 59-year-old, who celebrated her birthday earlier his week, was not in the studio however the presenter definitely had her back.
“Can I just say again, Debbie McGee? How great is Debbie McGee everyone? She’s 98-years-old. Incredible. How she does it, I just don’t know,” Tom had commented.

Zoe, 46, then made sure to point out: “She’s only 59, I’m just putting it out there,” however it was clear his remarks were all in jest as gushed about her ballroom skills.
Actress Martine, 41, added: “I really want to look like her by the way, when I’m 59 - oh my god!”
Two viewers posted on Twitter: “‘Debbie McGee is 98 years old’. Ouch #ItTakesTwo,” and: “Worse Friday Panel ever #ItTakesTwo.”
But the micro-blogging site was also inundated with praise for Tom, with many calling for him to be a regular feature on the BBC spin-off.
