THE X FACTOR judge Simon Cowell could be replaced for the talent show's second live weekend following his traumatic fall.

Simon's mysterious absence has prompted speculation over his future on the judging panel with ex-judge Cheryl fancied to take his seat.
Bookmakers Paddy Power have now tipped Cheryl to replace Simon at 2/1 saying that: "If he doesn't make it back, ITV will want a star name to replace him, and who better than Cheryl?"
Simon missed both live shows this weekend after being rushed to hospital due to a fall down the stairs which has left him injured and in "huge shock".

Alesha Dixon was asked to step in for the X Factor boss telling host Dermot O'Leary she had "about five" hours notice.
Alesha said: "I was chilling out on the couch with my daughter and I got the call."
Fans took to Twitter to speculate why it was Alesha replacing Simon in the first place with one asking: "Why didn't they ask Cheryl to judge instead of Alesha? What is this shady shade?"

The X Factor mogul suffered a fall at his home last week
Simon's partner Lauren Silverman attended the studio with three-year-old son Eric and stayed for the live show in his absence.
Simon said on his fall: "They think I fainted because I had low blood pressure and so I have got to really take good care of myself to sort that out.
"After all I am a dad and have more responsibility than ever."
The X Factor continues Saturday on ITV at 7pm.
