Strictly Come Dancing 2017: Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly spark outrage over major snub
STRICTLY COME DANCING hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman riled up viewers as soon as they came on stage last night.
Tess and Claudia open Strictly's Halloween special
The BBC ballroom competition was transformed into a Halloween spooktacular with the judges and celebrities dressing up especially for the occasion.
Shirley Ballas blew audiences away with her Cruella De Vil competition, while Debbie McGee donned a stunning black bob.
However, Strictly Come Dancing presenters Tess and Claudia decided to snub the fun leaving the audience at home fuming.
“How come Tess & Claudia don't have to get dressed up in daft Halloween costumes?” snapped one audience member, as another agreed: “Even the orchestra are participating in the Halloween theme Tess and Claudia take note.”

Why aren't Tess and Claudia in fancy dress
A third cried: “Why aren't Tess and Claudia in fancy dress. It looks like they're at the wrong party!”
“Judges, dancers & celebs look amazing, where’s claud & tess’s costumes tho?? #strictly” pleased one more, which was followed by: “Why haven’t Tess and Claudia bothered with dressing up?!”
This particularly disgruntled viewer hissed: “Claudia and Tess should've made an effort for tonight, everyone else inc. Judges are in Halloween makeup/costume.”

Debbie McGee wore a black wig for the occasion
However, others absolutely adored Tess’ red velour gown and piled on heaps of praise for the mother-of-two.
Also in tonight’s particularly eventful Strictly Come Dancing, Debbie McGee snarled at Anton Du Beke ahead of her Charleston.
And Claudia was forced to apologise to Alexandra Burke after Shirley’s microphone failed her.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tomorrow night at 7.15pm on BBC One.
