The ex-weather forecaster joined Holly Willoughby, 36, and Phillip Schofield, 55, on the ITV show today to discuss the infamous moment when he assured Brits not to worry about winds and rain ahead of the Great Storm of 1987.
As Holly welcomed Michael, 73, and began to ask him about the notorious broadcast, he was quick to interrupt her.
"Before anything else, I want you to do me a favour," he said, as the This Morning beauty looked startled.

Michael was referencing Holly's difficulty pronouncing weather forecaster Tomasz Schafernaker's name in a hilarious This Morning blooper released last week.
She and her co-host were forced to re-take a segment repeatedly when she couldn't seem to say his name properly, leaving the pair in fits of hysterics.
The clip saw Phil and Holly collapse on the sofa as they failed to hold it together, with the former announcing: "Oh my god, she's gone! She's gone!"
This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
