The latest instalment of the popular ITV soap sparked a frenzy on social media as viewers flooded to Twitter after recognising actress Susan Twist from Brookside.
Nicola Rubinstein (played by Nicola Thorp) paid a visit to her late mother's friend Lydia Hartman (Susan) when she revealed to her that not only was she pregnant, but also that Pat Phelan (Connor McIntyre) was her real father.
Lydia's horrified reaction left Coronation Street fans wondering what dark secrets about Pat have yet to come out, although she insisted: "It's just shock, that's all."
However, many viewers were distracted by recognising the actress from somewhere else, with one tweeting: "Where've I seen that lady before? #Brookside ? #Corrie"

"I'm sure she was from Brookside," a second added, while another chipped in: "Wasn't Lydia in Brookside?"
One social media user had a unique theory, saying: "Rosie Banks from Brookside has been living in Weatherfield (and still has the same hairdo)."
Susan previously played traffic warden Rosie in the soap back in 1994.
Her character, who was married to Eddie (Paul Broughton) won the lottery before her other half gambled their fortune away, leaving them with no option but to leave.
