James Martin reveals a shocking secret from his Strictly days
James Martin, 45, gave Strictly Come Dancing fans an insight into what goes on in training on the BBC dance contest.
The chef was joined on Saturday Morning with James Martin by his former professional dance partner Camilla Dallerup, 43, who got him through to week nine back in 2005 on series three.
Announcing that he was going to be whipping up a delicious dish of Southern Fried Chicken for Camilla, James revealed: "The reason I wanted to cook this for you is that you put me on a diet when I was on Strictly."
"Yeah, now you've told everybody that," she chided.

James revealed he broke his diet by sneaking chocolate and fried chicken
"You put me on a particular diet," he continued. "And that was salad. Occasionally I was allowed, possibly if I was good, a stick of celery, and then if I was really, really good maybe munch on a little bit of red pepper."
However, Camilla forced him to divulge the sneaky way he dodged the restrictions of his diet, asking pointedly: "Did you hide chocolate bars in your car?"
"Right…" he said, guiltily, before she insisted: "Did you?"
"Well… yes, yes I did," he admitted, moving quickly on to explain: "But the best part of this is when we got through and through the final and stuff like that she said, 'Right, what time tomorrow?'

"I said 'Eight?'" he continued. "She said, 'Right, I'll see you at seven then.'"
James then confessed that there was more to his diet cheating than just the chocolate bars, saying: "So anyway, you go back in the car and on the way back the driver would take you to the very famous giant chicken outlet in a bucket and I would have a 10-piece bargain bucket with six packets of chips.
"So this reminds me of Camilla, Southern Fried Chicken reminds me of Camilla," he concluded.
Saturday Morning with James Martin continues next Saturday at 9.30am on ITV.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight at 6.35pm on BBC One.
