Sky's offering to the talent show format comes in the form of Sing: Ultimate A Cappella.
Over seven weeks, 30 groups compete against each other until one comes out on top as the best a cappella group in the UK.
The winner will receive the chance to record their own single at Abbey Road Studios in a bid to become Christmas number one.
It's a format that Cat, 40, thinks could topple the likes of talent show stalwarts, The X Factor and The Voice.

The blonde-beauty explained to Express.co.uk that it is not unknown for an a cappella group to reach the top spot at Christmas, with The Flying Pickets soaring to number one in 1983 with their hit 1983.
With that in mind, she laughed, saying: "Simon Cowell should be worried!"
When asked why opinion seems to have turned on The X Factor, with recent ratings taking a dip, Cat had a strong idea.
The former SM:TV Live presenter said: "I think that every single entertainment show like that is cyclical.
"It was opportunity knocks years ago and they're hugely successful and then [the audience] gets bored of them so they put them away, and then they will bring them back later on."
Cat was also full of praise for those who take on the a cappella competition, adding : "It's a real mixture of people and they're absolutely amazing because there's nothing for them to hide behind."
Sing: Ultimate A Capella kicks off tonight on Sky1 at 9pm.
