Strictly: Mollie King makes her dancing debut
After the couples for this year’s series were announced, fans began to speculate about Mollie King and AJ Pritchard, while rumours that Gemma Atkinson had fallen for Gorka Marquez also began to circulate.
Now, former Strictly Come Dancing professional Kristina Rihanoff has noted that it wouldn’t be surprising if a celebrity fell for their partner.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk about the so-called Strictly curse and this year’s rumours, the blonde beauty explained: “There are lots of shows that have the same curse.
“It’s the same with Big Brother and I’m A Celebrity, it’s just Strictly is one of the biggest shows so people like to talk about that one.

Strictly Come Dancing: Kristina Rihanoff said it would not be surprising if a pair grew close
“You know you work closely with somebody and perhaps there could be some developments or the potential of a romance and if there is something between Mollie and AJ, it kind of exists in a lot of shows anyway.”
Kristina, 40, went on to add: “People work closely together and you know, it’s one of those things. It can happen on any kind of show and any kind of work, because that’s where people usually meet their partners anyway.
“So, whether it is the Big Brother curse or the Strictly curse, it is just a curse where people come together for a long period of time and they feel maybe more or less isolated from the real work if you like and grow fond of each other.
“Everyone likes a little bit of showmance so we will see what happens, it is early days.”
Kristina is currently preparing for her upcoming tour Dance To The Music for which she has teamed up with former Celebrity Big Brother housemate and friend Christopher Maloney.
