As creepy Will Chatterton (played by Leon Ockenden) attempted to woo Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) in the second instalment of the ITV soap, many feared his plan was to blow them both up.
The stalker had invited his ex-girlfriend to his luxurious house for dinner and poured two red wines to seduce her.
However, those watching were left a little distracted as Will heated up a quiche in the microwave.
The Weatherfield villain cooked the pastry treat in its tin foil packaging and put it in the electrical device, leaving viewers completely gobsmacked.
