The journalist appeared to accidentally flash her knickers in the early hours of this morning giving those tuning in at 6.14am more than they bargained for.
Steph could be seen sitting alongside her co-host in a navy dress with white and red stripes on the hem when the wardrobe malfunction occurred.
And, while she looked elegant in the chic number, it appeared to be a little to short for the BBC Breakfast sofa.
However, the presenter appeared completely unfazed by the prospect that she may have just exposed her underwear to the nation.

Another added: "Steph looking amazing this morning, it's great to see you presenting Saturday's Breakfast with Charlie. Have a great weekend."
While a third continued: "Enjoying brilliant BBC Breakfast this morning. Brilliantly presented by Charlie and by Steph, Steph you look very beautiful."

However, as many were distracted by the 35-year-old's dress, one viewer took to social media to ask her to change her northern accent.
"@stephbreakfast Please can you try and work on losing your northern accent Steph McGovern as it really is annoying #bbcnews #watchdog," one man asked.
Steph certainly wasn't impressed by his demands and hit back: "In a word, no."
BBC Breakfast airs on BBC One at 6am.
