The two-part special for the 32nd series will see the BBC medical series transport viewers to a French refugee camp.
As part of the special story, Dylan Keogh (played by Will Beck), David Hide (Jason Durr) and Louise Tyler (Azuka Oforka) will head to northern France to offer medical assistance.
However, things will be far from simple when Dylan forms a bond with two of the children which will cause tensions to rise.
Actor Will explained: "It was so nice to do a story set away from the hospital, the look and feel is more filmic.”
He went on to say: "The main thing, however, was the importance of telling this story, which has been slightly forgotten in the news recently, and realising, when you boil it down to one human story, just how relevant it still is."
The episodes were penned by writers Dana Fainaru and Dominique Maloney and filmed in Cardiff and Fishguard.
