Winter has finally arrived in Westeros but the lonely lord of Winterfell is the only one who understands the gravity of the situation.
With the White Walkers raising their armies of the undead in the North and war brewing across the Seven Kingdoms, the situation is looking extremely dire.
But with the backing of the feisty Lyanna Mormont (played by Bella Ramsey), Jon is on a quest find the one weapon that could change the tides of cold death – dragonglass.
“We need to find it, we need to mine it, we need to make weapons from it,” Jon said.
Last season it was revealed that Jon could be the secret son of the Mad King Rhaegar Targaryen, giving him a legitimate claim to the Iron Throne.

This would also mean that Danereys Targaryen (Emilia Clare) would be his aunt.
"He started the series as an illegitimate black sheep in the family who's just going up to this, back and beyond, to achieve nothing,” Kit told the Hollywood Reporter.

Besides Game of Thrones, Kit recently starred in the spy thriller Spooks: The Greater Good.
The 30-year-old’s career began when he appeared in the Olivier Award-wining stage play production of War Horse.
He was initially pursuing a career in journalism but the allure of acting proved to much to overcome.
