Little Luna has been in guide dog training and the This Morning team has been following the pup's progress for months.
Although she has come on a lot, Luna has more skills to learn before she is a fully-fledged guide dog, which meant that it was time for her to say goodbye to Holly and Phil.
Opening the show with a wealth of balloons and celebration tunes, the presenting duo announced that they were throwing a goodbye party for the cute pooch.
Phillip, 55, announced: "She's about to go into her next set of training which quite frankly she probably needs.

"All morning we're throwing a goodbye party for her," he added.
But thankfully for Luna fans, she will be back when she is fully trained, but Holly did announce that they will keep up to date with her progress.
However, Phillip Schofield was emotional about saying goodbye to Luna, revealing that he is going to miss her a lot, adding: "You've been a beautifully amazing dog."
Only recently, Luna caused chaos on the ITV show when she dragged an unsuspecting Eamonn Holmes off set.
Ruth Langsford laughed as she told viewers: "Sorry, Eamonn's being taken for a walk. Luna is just taking Eamonn for a walk."
The 57-year-old presenter was then seen being dragged all over the studio by cheeky Luna.
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV from 10.30am.
