Emmerdale spoiler: Are RobRon set for shock EXIT after Robert Sugden drops THIS bombshell?
EMMERDALE'S favourite couple Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden confronted their problems in tonight's episode of the ITV show, but it led to a shock development.
Emmerdale: Robert pleads with Aaron for one last chance
The married pair have been struggling to maintain their relationship for months now, since Robert (played by Ryan Hawley) found out that Rebecca White (Emily Head) was pregnant after their one night-stand together during Aaron's (Danny Miller) time in prison.
However, after their romantic issues came to a head in the village tonight, a dicey argument led to Robert making a shock proposal that would mean the couple moving away in a double exit for the soap.
After realising his husband was in deep pain every time he touched his abdomen, Robert demanded: "Show me your stomach, and don't make me ask again."
But while Aaron tried to hide what he'd done, the truth eventually came out and he admitted he'd been self-harming for weeks.

Everyone saw this coming, everyone!
The argument escalated as Robert realised the abuse had started when Rebecca came back to Emmerdale, leading Aaron to smash their wedding photo.
"Everyone saw this coming, everyone! It's us, smashed to bits. You did that, you," he said.
Robert repeatedly tried to mend the relationship but Aaron was defeated, until his husband had a new idea.
Dropping the bombshell that left Aaron speechless, he said: "No no there's still a way. We go, we move away. We never have to see Rebecca or that baby, we go and we never look back."

The catalyst for the conversation came after Aaron decided in yesterday's episode of the soap to contact his old drug dealer for some Spice, the drug he'd used in prison, after increasingly failing to cope.
Villainous bully Jason (Samuel Edward-Cook) came along and attempted to give him a beating, but while Aaron was saved by Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) just in the nick of time, he ended up discarding the packet of drugs and returning to self-harm to numb his pain, which saw viewers upset and complaining to the channel about the absence of a warning or helpline.
