THE tenth season of Doctor Who came to a spectacular close yesterday evening but some fans were not impressed.

Many viewers were left struggling to hear the final episode as the latest run of the BBC sci-fi series came to an end.
Taking to Twitter, fans complained that their audio had cut out during the dramatic end scene.
The sound blunder left many unable to hear Peter Capaldi's Time Lord reunited with a character from his past.
One viewer asked: "Did anyone else lose the sound for the last couple of minutes of #DoctorWho?"

It is believed that the issue only affected those watching on BBC Scotland HD but the BBC's official Doctor Who account was quick to apologise.
They wrote: "Many apologies to anyone who experienced problems with the sound on The Doctor Falls. We're looking into what went wrong.
"The #DoctorWho series finale is available on BBC iPlayer."

Doctor Who: Who will replace Peter as the new Time Lord?
Last night fans went into meltdown as the episode appeared to drop a huge hint about the identity of the next Time Lord.
In the final moments Bill Potts (played by Pearl Mackie) stepped up to tackle whatever horror they faced next, as the Master asked: "Will the future be all girl?"
The Doctor replied: "We can only hope," which prompted many of those tuning in to believe it was a clue about Peter's replacement.
Doctor Who will return with a Christmas special Christmas Day on BBC One.
