EastEnders makes MAJOR Tesco fish finger BLUNDER at the Minute Mart
EASTENDERS fans have joked that Tesco needs to “have a word” with the soap after spotting another food-related blunder during tonight’s episode.
EastEnders viewers spot mini-mart fish finger gaffe
The soap’s Minute Mart convenience store was seen to be selling Tesco’s own brand value fish fingers after Jack Branning (played by Scott Maslen) appeared to purchase some food for his children’s dinner.
Shop worker Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) didn’t even bat an eyelid as she bagged up the Tesco goods, but viewers instantly took to social media after noticing the gaffe.
One viewer tweeted: “@bbceastenders Can the Minute Mart on EastEnders sell @Tesco everyday value fish fingers? #EastEnders #fishfingers #BBC #Tesco,” as another joked: “Oi @Tesco get the lads down to Minute Mart in Albert Square, they’re re-selling ya fish fingers #EastEnders.”
A third added: “Can’t believe they sell Tesco everyday value fish fingers in the Minute Mart #EastEnders,” as another said: “Why’s the minute mart selling Tesco basic fish fingers #EastEnders @bbceastenders, what next Asda milk?”

It comes after Denise Fox (Diane Parish) was caught up in a two food-related blunders last month.
First, Denise “incorrectly” made a pasta dish before being caught up in a biscuit gaffe.
The Walford character was seen to be turned away from receiving benefits and offered a food bank referral leaflet.
Denise was also told she would have to wait 10 weeks before she would receive her first universal credit cheque.

Becoming emotional after “judging” the employee, believing that he was judging her, Denise was asked whether she wanted to chat about her situation over a cup of tea.
When the worker returned with tea, he handed Denise an open packet of Digestive biscuits.
However, more worrying to eagle-eyed viewers was that the BBC prop department had seemingly put Rich Tea savoury snacks inside the Digestives packaging for an easier bite.
EastEnders continues this Thursday on BBC One at 7.30pm.
