The trail-blazing new wave troupe are notorious for breaking boundaries with both their signature style and music, but tonight ITV viewers felt Debbie Harry took her bold fashion choices one step too far.
Debbie, 71, raised several eyebrows rather than the roof when she closed the Bradley Walsh show with black and yellow cones, scarily reminiscent of Madonna’s iconic cone bra - on her head.
“Used to love #Blondie but #TonightAtTheLondonPalladium confirms she needs to #retire,” moaned one audience member, as another agreed: “Oh my, not sure what to make of Blondie's performance! #TonightAtTheLondonPalladium.”
A third cried: “Christ on a bike WTF #DebbieHarry #TonightAtTheLondonPalladium.”

“Why didn't a producer ask if she wanted another go at this? That's dreadful #TonightAtTheLondonPalladium,” hissed this particularly dismayed viewer, which was followed by: “#TonightAtTheLondonPalladium I'm thinking #Blondie should give up singing now.”
Another sighed: “Jesus wept. Car crash tv appearance #blondie #itv #TonightAtTheLondonPalladium.”
Though, others were still in awe of the punk pioneer, with one fan beaming: “Blondie are still rocking it. Debbie's looking good too.”
