The survivor explained to hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford that she went to pick up her child from the gig with Wendy Fawell when terror struck.
Caroline explained: "We'd separated. I think she was only yards away when it happened. She was going one way and I was going a different way so we didn't miss the kids.
"I don't remember anything. We were stood there one minute and then I woke up and I couldn't see Wendy anywhere.

"I could feel my arm but it felt like it was feet away from me and it felt like I had Big Ben on my head because my ears were ringing so much," she continued.
Caroline explained that she made a promise to Wendy before she died that if anything should happen to either of them, they would look after each other's children.
She told the hosts that Wendy's daughter Charlotte is always welcome at her house.
Caroline explained: "She's got the knowledge of knowing she's got us lot still and my door is always open and nothing's changed on that front.
"Charlotte seems to be doing ok but I've not seen her cry. I think she's bottling it up, but she's with the best people to support her when she's ready to let go and we're all going to be there for her," she finished.
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10.30am.
