GRAHAM NORTON viewers slammed Guy Ritchie over what some have described as "homophobic" comments during last night's episode of the BBC chat show whilst promoting his new film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.

Discussing the much-anticipated cameo from David Beckham, the director told the host: "Our kids go to the same school, we go to the same pub and we go to, sort of, the same gay gym."
The quick-witted host snapped back: "Isn't that just 'gym'? I think the 'gay' is silent."
After pausing to laugh about the joke, Guy replied: "I set you up nicely there!"

However, those at home were were not happy with his comment, with one posting on Twitter: "Guy Ritchie's 'gay gym' comment. For god sake #GrahamNorton."
Another added: "'Gay gym' and 'camp' said by #GuyRitchie on #GrahamNorton in the space of five minutes. Not coming across the best mate!"
A third commented: "#GrahamNorton #GuyRitchie using the word 'gay' as a derogatory term. He's such a 90s geez.”(sic)
Viewers were outraged at the comments
A fourth agreed, posting: "Guy Ritchie… Gay gym??? D**k #GrahamNorton."
