The BBC soap has reportedly denied that the reality star’s Albert Square alter ego will be making a comeback.
It comes just hours after the 43-year-old was interviewed on Loose Women, before appearing to confirm she would be reprising her role.
When asked if there was any chance of a reappearance, Danniella told the ITV panelists: “There’s a lot of chance of me going back to EastEnders at the moment, yeah.
“I love EastEnders, I just really wish we could film it in Marbella. I’ll probably be back there at the end of this year.”

However, a BBC Spokesperson told Express.co.uk: "There are no plans for Danniella to return."
The Celebrity Big Brother contestant last appeared more than a year ago, when Sam attended her mother Peggy’s (played by Dame Barbara Windsor) funeral.
Danniella was in a total of four episodes and exited after leaving her son with his estranged father Jack Branning (Scott Maslen).

Meanwhile, her Loose Women chat saw the hosts slammed for “ripping into” her as she was quizzed on her latest stint in rehab and her decision to open a bar in Spain.
Discussing if it was “like being on a diet and opening a cake shop”, Danniella replied: “I'm better on the other side of the bar. I'm a people person."
EastEnders continues tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
