The remaining eight hopefuls were split into two teams and tasked with cooking a two-course meal for the cast and crew of Holby City.
Faye, who was leading the red team, appeared to struggle with the difficult task and found herself breaking down as it all became too much for her to handle.
She had chosen to cook duck breast for her team's main course but, despite drawing up a cooking schedule, the contestant failed to cook it correctly and on time.
As the team began to rush to serve up their dishes, they cut open the duck to find it was still raw inside.

Faye immediately put her head in her hands as she feared they would have nothing to give the cast.
She could be seen wiping tears from her face as she insisted that she couldn't let her team down while judge Gregg Wallace rushed to her side and offered her a supportive hug.
While they eventually managed to serve up their main fully cooked, their efforts were not good enough and the four amateur chefs faced elimination.
Sadly it simply wasn't Faye's day as she later failed to impress the judges once more with Gregg describing her dish as "cheese and biscuits".

While the Northerner was sad to leave the competition, many of those watching at home were gutted she had been knocked out.
One viewer tweeted: "#MasterChefUK Gutted for Faye...wanted the bonny lass to win."
While another added: "Don't think that was fair at all!! She was the best cook out the lot of them #MasterChefUK."
"#MasterChefUK noooo! I'm so gutted to see Faye go! Really think she deserved to stay based on how amazing she's been the whole time," a third wrote.
MasterChef UK continues tomorrow on BBC One at 8pm.
