Dalasio, a stand up performer originally from Malawi, thrilled the audience with jokes about the financial crisis in the first world.
Before the hopeful began, Amanda declared that she was hoping a comedian would win Britain’s Got Talent.
Laughing throughout, it was no surprise that the 46-year-old opted to use her golden buzzer to secure her favourite a smooth passage to the next stage.
However, Amanda’s actions sparked a debate on Twitter as some viewers said the performance was not strong enough to warrant the use of the feature.

One fan tweeted: “He was funny, but not sure if I would have given him the golden buzzer. Each to their own #BGT.”

Meanwhile, others said pianist Tokyo Myers should have been sent through to the semi-finals, with one viewer commenting: “The piano player should have got the golden buzzer, he's more deserving of it than the comedian #BGT.”
A second agreed: “Only me who thought Tokio should of got a golden buzzer? Actually thought Ant and dec would of pressed it!! @BGT #BGT.”
