ZOE HENRY has warned viewers who were shocked by the events that took place in last night's episode of Emmerdale, that her character Rhona Goskirk's storyline will get "worse".

Emmerdale’s Zoe Henry reveals things worsen for Rhona
The actress appeared on This Morning to address the backlash that the latest instalment faced after Pierce Harris (Jonathan Wrather) raped his new wife in scenes which aired before the watershed.
But she told presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that viewers should be prepared for the dark storyline to continue.
"Tonight is harder than what we shot for last night," she explained. "You expect an apology from Pierce but that doesn't come.
"I don't want to spoil it for anyone but what does happen is worse."

Zoe went on to add: "He manages to twist it around. She feels guilty and, not that she deserved it, but that she brought it about."
The soap star said that she received a mixed response following last night's instalment, commenting: "There's been a real cross section of people.
"We reflect real life but there's also the side that it was too early."

Last night many of those tuning into the ITV soap fumed that it had been aired pre-watershed, with one commenting: "They need to leave those storylines for after 8pm to be honest…" while another agreed: "Jesus Christ that was a bit brutal for 7.30pm."
Someone else continued: "Just caught the last few minutes of @emmerdale. That was definitely not 7pm viewing. Hope Rhona leaves him to show there's hope."
