EastEnders spoiler: Michelle Fowler in TROUBLE as Ian Beale reveals he has no insurance
EASTENDERS favourite Ian Beale tonight revealed that he had not paid for insurance on his chip shop.
EastEnders' Ian confronts Michelle over crashing his car
The now ruined chippy, destroyed after Michelle Fowler (played by Jenna Russell) smashed Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) car through the front window, may never recover due to Ian’s (Adam Woodyatt) chancing.
Admitting it would cost “thousands” that he doesn’t have, will Ian have to shut up shop for good?
Michelle said: “Ian, I’m sorry. I had no idea you hadn’t paid your insurance. That’s not my fault though.”
Shocked that she was blaming him, he replied: “Yeah, and it’s not my fault you went mad chasing after some boy! I mean, aren’t you ashamed?”

could lose my business. Do you get that? It is going to cost me thousands to get that chippy up and running again
Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) protested and asked Ian to calm down as Michelle was still recovering from her time in hospital.
Ian couldn’t help himself and burst out with: “Have you got any idea what people are calling you? I could lose my business. Do you get that? It is going to cost me thousands to get that chippy up and running again. Never mind all the custom I’m losing. Where am I going to find that kind of money from?”
In a strange turn of events, Michelle made another one of her untrustworthy promises, saying: “I’ll pay. If that’s what it takes for you to stop hating me! I’ll scrape it together somehow,” revealing that she owns half of her Florida house.
However, later in the episode, Michelle had her passport confiscated by the police so that she could not leave the country. Will Ian ever get Michelle’s money?
