Peaky Blinders season 4: Shock as major character 'AXED' from Shelby family drama
THE Shelby family is set to return to television screens later this year but one major character will not be returning for season four of Peaky Blinders.
Tom Hardy in BBC's Peaky Blinders
The BBC drama follows Thomas Shelby (played by Cillian Murphy) and his brothers Arthur (Paul Anderson), John (Joe Cole) and sister Ada (Sophie Rundle) and their operations in Birmingham.
And, while many of the cast have confirmed they will be reprising their roles, including Tom Hardy who was recently spotted on set with co-star Cillian, one star will not be involved in the family drama.
Alexander Siddig, who starred in season three as Ruben Oliver and wooed Aunt Polly (Helen McCrory), has revealed he has not been asked back.
"They have a way of moving on, three years or something, every time they start a new season," he explained. "As far as I know I'm not involved."

The actor starred an artist who won the affection of Aunt Polly after she hired him to paint her portrait.
And while they appeared to be rather smitten with each other in the last series, it seems their love didn't last.
"She obviously found someone else," Alexander told Digital Spy. "That's what happens! You go full c**k - excuse the pun - and then you get totally stood up!"
It comes after it was revealed that Game of Thrones star Aidan Gillen would be joined the gangster drama when it returns.
