Emmerdale storyliner has faced backlash over Robron cheating story
He received a backlash on his social media account from fans of the show who were angry after Robert Sugden (played by Ryan Hawley) cheated on his husband and fan-favourite Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) with his ex-flame Rebcca White (Emily Head).
Whilst some viewers were angry over Aaron being cheated on, others believed that Emmerdale was perpetuating offensive stereotypes about bisexual people.
One viewer tweeted: "Maybe next time you could try 'breaking twitter' without calling someone with a MI weak or pulling out the bisexuals are cheats tropes."
Another added: "@littlevienna Do you have any idea how irresponsible it is to make the only bisexual character keep cheating?"

Cheating is in all soaps and isn't dependent on their sexuality
Joe defended the show and the characters by responding to fans, saying: "His bisexuality isn't why he cheats. It's irrelevant. Cheating is in all soaps and isn't dependent on their sexuality."
After continued abuse and reports circulating about it, Joe deleted his account for a brief period before returning later that day.
He clarified his actions, tweeting: "Rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated… Didn't think anyone spoke out of turn, just didn't like my tweets being in an article."
Danny who plays one half of Robron also posted messages of support to his fans, which were retweeted by Joe.

He said: "I know it's not going the way you'd imagined. But it's soap. There's loads of twists & turns. The abusive accounts/tweets helps nothing!
"Your passion & love for the characters & the show, makes us was to push you away & pull you back in. It's a journey. Plenty more to come," he concluded.
