The actor, who plays Jon Snow in the hit HBO series, left fans devastated when he was brutally stabbed by the men of the Night's Watch at the end of series five.
For a whole year, he refused to confirm whether or not he would return and viewers were left gripped as they watched Melisandre (played by Carice van Houten) bring him back to life.
And, for fans who were worried that they would have to watch him die all over again, the 30-year-old seemingly confirmed that he would make it to season eight alive.
He dropped the huge hint as he revealed that more money had been spent on the show in order to break boundaries over the course of the next two series.
"They spent an increasing amount of money on less episodes, so it's gonna be much bigger in scale, the CGI," Kit told the Huffington Post.

"Yes, I'm gonna say, 'Yes.' I mean I hope it is. I certainly did more this season than I've ever done," the heartthrob noted. "I think every actor on it did more action, had more action, had more scenes.
"They really focused it because less characters are coming in, and they're focusing it on the existing ones and there are lots of people who cross paths, and that's something that I think the audience has been waiting for for a long time."

Game of Thrones: Isaac Hempstead-Wright stars as Bran Stark
It comes after Isaac Hempstead-Wright hinted that things don't "look great" for his character Bran Stark.
The actor told Entertainment Weekly that his future is uncertain, commenting: "Bran is in the same position he's in, which is kind of like, 'What am I gonna do? What's gonna happen?'
"Is he gonna tell Jon? Is he gonna find anyone? Is he even going to make it past the Wall? He's only with Meera now, and he's out in the middle of nowhere so it's not looking great."
Game of Thrones returns to HBO on July 16 and will air in the UK on Sky Atlantic on July 17.
