EMMERDALE viewers have been hoping Rhona Goskirk will finally see the light and leave Pierce Harris and it might not be long until their wishes come true.

Pierce (played by Jonathan Wrather) has become increasingly violent to his fiancé Rhona (Zoe Henry) and her friend Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) could be the one to break them up.
In new images released by ITV, Vanessa sours the atmosphere between her and Rhona when she vents her true feelings about Pierce.
And when Rhona gets home to model some sexy lingerie for Pierce from Laurel’s underwear stock, she looks very tense and uneasy around him.
In more images from the episode to be aired next week, Pierce drops unannounced on Vanessa and is seen threatening her as he holds up a picture of her son.

After clashing, Vanessa sees his true colours and is left even more determined to make sure Rhona sees Pierce for what he really is.
Speaking about the upcoming scenes to Daily Star, actress Michelle said: “It gets a lot, lot darker. When Vanessa tries to make Rhona see sense, Pierce will give her a warning and show her what he’s really capable of. He even threatens to use baby Jonny against her.”
The couple are set to tie the knot over the coming weeks, but they might not even make it down the aisle.
Producer Iain MacLeod recently hinted that the pair’s alarming relationship is only going to get darker, leaving concerns that Rhona might be killed off.

He added: “The episodes are heart-stoppingly dramatic – quite a tough watch but an unbelievably big talking point heading into the summer."
