Let It Shine viewers OUTRAGED after BBC remove LGBT references from Lady Gaga cover
LET IT SHINE viewers have accused the BBC of “straightening” up Lady Gaga’s Born This Way in a performance by hopefuls Iron Sun.

Tonight’s semi-final saw the remaining contestants show off their dancing as well as their singing skills.
Iron Sun performed their own rendition of Lady Gaga’s 2011 hit Born This Way to a mixed reaction from judges Gary Barlow, Dannii Minogue and Martin Kemp.
However, those watching at home were dismayed that some of the LGBT references had been edited out of the song.
Lyrics omitted from the boy band's song included: “No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgendered life. I’m on the right track baby. I was born to survive.”

It's the point of the song
Also the spoken lyrics “don't be a drag, just be a queen” were missing.
One disappointed viewer said: “So the BBC edited Born This Way for #letitshine so it didn't mention any LGBT references. Surely that's the whole message of the song?”
“#letitshine how can you sing born this way without mentioning anything about equality and diversity ??? It's the point of the song,” another added.
