It’s national Bird Watching Day across the UK today, and in turn, Ben teased that he’ll be “looking for great tits this weekend”.
His co-host Kate Garraway, 49, was understandably stunned by the father-of-two’s dirty quip first thing in the morning, and she wasn’t the only one.
Viewers were in stitches over the cheeky innuendo and bombarded Twitter with crying laughing emojis.
“You're like a teenager Ben, giggling at Charlotte’s great t**s,” giggled one audience member, as another chuckled: “What’s wrong with you this morning lol. I know what you are thinking, you naughty boy.”

One jester bellowed: “Let's hope @benshephard gets to see plenty of Great tits over the weekend,” before one more wrote: “My son fell on the floor laughing when I went to buy bird seed and it said on the pack, or great tits, he’s 13 tho get boys never grow up Ben.”
Other were simply delighted to wake up to Ben over Piers Morgan, 51, after he was gagged at the National Television Awards over his comments on the Women’s March, which prompted Ewan McGregor to cancel his GMB interview at the very last minute.
“How refreshing to hear Ben being mischievous about great tits rather than an angry tirade from egotistical Piers Morgan,” sighed one fan of the microblogging site.

Both Ben and Kate attended this week’s National Television Awards at London’s 02 Arena, with the latter being “dragged” out with fake eyelashes on her bottom.
Ben revealed that Kate had another of her daily clangers at the ceremony during the programme yesterday.
