EastEnders: Danny-Boy Hatchard and Sally Rogers hailed for 'heartbreaking' rooftop episode
ACTORS Danny-Boy Hatchard and Sally Rogers have been lauded for their emotive performances in tonight's acclaimed episode of EastEnders.
EastEnders: A kind stranger comes to Lee Carters aid
The instalment, written by Lauren Klee, saw Hatchard's character Lee Carter on a rooftop, threatening to jump.
He was intercepted by Karen, played by guest star Rogers, who pleaded with him to reconsider.
"Life's flipping hard," she powerfully told him. "Sometimes it's like a massive wave comes and crashes over you… but sometimes the currents are gentle, Lee, and you can swim whichever way you like, or you can just lie back and float.
"You've just got to weather this storm."
