Strictly Come Dancing 2016: Kevin Clifton 'pushing' for Louise Redknapp to fall for him
KEVIN CLIFTON has joked that he is still “pushing” for Louise Redknapp to fall in love with him as they prepare for the upcoming final of Strictly Come Dancing.
Kevin jokes he's still pushing for Louise to love him
The professional dancer and his celebrity partner appeared on Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two tonight to talk about the routines they will be performing on Saturday.
In the past, Kevin has encouraged Louise to pretend to be infatuated with him during their performances, in order to bring some character to the dance.
When they performed their sensual Argentine tango in week seven, Louise became “Valentina” while Kevin transformed into “Santiago”.
Discussing their upcoming show dance this weekend with host, Zoe Ball, the 34-year-old revealed he had changed tactics this week.

You don’t have to fall in love with Kevin in this dance?
As the dance will be about Louise’s Strictly journey, he has told her to just be herself.
Surprised at the change, Zoe asked: “So, you don’t have to fall in love with Kevin in this dance?”
Louise replied: “In this one, no,” as Kevin chimed in: “But I’m still trying to push it!”
Zoe Ball was surprised Kevin had not told Louise to be in love with him for their show dance
The comment was all in jest however as Louise is married to former footballer, Jamie Redknapp.
While Kevin tied the knot with fellow Strictly professional Karen Clifton last year.
The Strictly Come Dancing final will air on Saturday at 6.50pm on BBC One.
