Susanna Reid left squirming after being awkwardly REJECTED by Andrew Lloyd Webber
SUSANNA REID isn’t a lady who's used to rejection, but during Good Morning Britain today she recalled being turned down by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The composer appeared on the programme to promote his latest West End smash hit School of Rock.
However, during his interview with the brunette beauty and her co-host Piers Morgan, 51, it transpired that Susanna, 46, and the stage icon had a particularly awkward encounter many moons ago.
“When you were looking for a Maria in The Sound Of Music, you gave me a very useful piece of advice,” Susanna grimaced. “If I wanted to sing professionally, I’d need two years' tuition.”
Clearly the audition went straight over the 68-year-old’s head, as he appeared to have no recollection of their encounter whatsoever.

What’s more, Susanna had an even more personal past with the star of Lord Lloyd-Webber’s latest production, David Fynn, who stars as the reckless teacher played by Jack Black in the original Hollywood musical.
“I know him,” Susanna Reid beamed. “He taught my kids.”
Elsewhere, in today’s instalment of the morning news show, Piers and Susanna blew up at Transport Secretary Chris Grayling over the abysmal strikes at Southern Rail.

Piers Morgan revelled in Susanna's rejection on GMB
Thousands of passengers have been left stranded as train drivers have refused to work, which the Conservative MP insisted was out of his hands.
Understandably, his lacklustre reaction riled up the GMB duo who called him “useless” and “impotent”.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
