The Grand Tour: Jeremy Clarkson slammed over 'appalling' migrant jibe
THE GRAND TOUR has come under fire once more after the presenters joked about smuggling migrants into Britain.
Jeremy Clarkson slammed over 'appalling' migrant jibe on The Grand Tour
The Grand Tour presenters cause trouble in Whitby
In the latest episode, entitled Enviro-mental, Jeremy Clarkson and James May demonstrated the best way to smuggle a migrant across the border.
While the presenters and studio audience may have found the stunt funny, migrant charities were far from impressed with the segment.
Babara Drozdowicz, from the East European Resource Centre, told the Daily Star: "We are appalled by the portrayal of migrants as an illegal cargo."
While Kate Gibbs from the Road Haulage Association continued: "To demonstrate what is, in effect, little more than a 'how to' guide' is just irresponsible."
The segment saw the pair hide co-host Richard Hammond in an Audi TT and challenge the audience to find him within 60 seconds.

Jeremy and James removed the back bumper of the car to reveal Richard's location
Jeremy explained: "When immigrants try to get into the country they always come in the back of a container lorry and that is the world's worst game of hide and seek.
"If you work for Border Force, you open the doors and go, 'Well, there you are'
"Surely, there must be a better way of getting into Britain. And I think I've worked it out."
When the audience failed to find Richard within the allotted time, James and Jeremy removed the back bumper of the car to reveal their co-host who had been strapped to the frame.
It's not the first time the Amazon Prime series has been slammed. Following the show's premiere, the travelling community lodged a complain with Ofcom after Jeremy made an "offensive" comment.

Speaking about their travelling studio tent, the 56-year-old joked: "This is our new travelling studio tent. Thanks you so much.
“We're going to be roaming the world in it, we're going to be like gypsies, only the cars we drive are going to be insured.”
