Mary Berry axes long-term agent in 'ruthless' move after quitting Great British Bake Off
MARY BERRY is reported to have dumped her manager of over 25 years in a shock move following her exit from the Great British Bake Off.

The 81-year-old, who quit the hit BBC series after it was sold to Channel 4 in a widely-publicised three-year deal, is said to have parted ways with Fiona Lindsay and left everyone "stunned".
"Mary has left Fiona after nearly 30 years and it has left a lot of people stunned," a source told The Sun.
"No one knows the reasons behind it but it feels quite ruthless."
The insider added that Mary is no stranger to making "tough decisions" for her career, adding: "This year has a been a big time of change for her."

Fiona is reported to be surprised by the newsman after playing a key role in Mary's rise to national treasure status.
Currently the broadcaster and kitchen queen is starring in The Great American Baking Show; which has seen her going down a storm with US viewers despite abysmal ratings.
Her time on the Great British Bake Off isn't over quite yet, however; as two Christmas specials are slated to air on BBC One over the festive period.
Her colleague Paul Hollywood, meanwhile, has recently defended his own decision to stay put, which came with huge controversy.

"Obviously it came down to my job was still there and I didn’t want to lose my job," he told Jonathan Ross.
“I love doing what I do. At the end of the day, I’m a baker by trade, that’s all I am.
“I’ve got a family and I’m just coming to the end of my career I suppose, I’m 50 odd, I haven’t got long left. I’m not going to last like Mary, 81.
"I’ll never last until I’m 81 but while it’s here, I will carry on doing my job as a judge.”
