Strictly's Janette Manrara reveals the real reason Daisy Lowe was in the dreaded dance-off
STRICTLY COME DANCING viewers were outraged when Daisy Lowe was forced to take part in the dreaded dance-off for a second time while Ed Balls waltzed into the next round on Sunday night.
Anastacia voted off Strictly Come Dancing
The model has consistently received high scores from the judges each week but has still found herself in the bottom two.
Now, Janette Manrara has revealed that the 27-year-old is struggling with the public vote because she doesn't have a Strictly fan base.
The professional dancer explained: "I find it quite surprising that she was in the bottom two last weekend.
"I think people don't really know Daisy… The Strictly fan base is such a different fan base from what Daisy normally does.

I think people don't really know Daisy
"I'm hoping after two dance-offs, people will get to know her. I think she's an incredible dancer and she shouldn't leave the competition. She's one of the strongest."
Janette, who is engaged to Daisy's partner Aljaž Škorjanec, noted that the pair have been incredibly consistent with their dances, which can often mean "people pass you by".
Speaking of the recent injuries and "race row" this series, the 32-year-old told Digital Spy: "It's been a weird season overall. There's a lot of things that have happened that have never happened before.
"It's been a strange one. Hopefully going forward there will be no more injuries or illness. It'll just be smooth sailing from now."
Janette said she hopes people get to know Daisy and continue to vote for her
Len added that he thinks Daisy gets overlooked by the public
Her comments come after head judge Len Goodman revealed that he believes Daisy was left in the bottom two because viewers at home think she is already safe.
Speaking on Chris Evans' BBC Radio Two Breakfast Show, the 72-year-old said: "She is terrific dancer, she has got a lovely personality and she's such a charming lovely person.
"The only thing I can think of is that when people vote, they see Daisy [and] she's in fourth place. She's in a good position, you think, 'Well, she's safe' and they vote for somebody down the line who they hope will come back. And then poor Daisy gets overlooked."
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday on BBC One at 6.55pm.
