EMOTIONAL new show This Time Next Year begins tonight, and host Davina McCall has revealed that it's all completely legitimate.
Davina McCall opens up about her mum's betrayal
The format sees participants join the presenter in the studio to reveal the big change they want to make in their life over the subsequent twelve months.
They then disappear behind a door and what is a year for them is a few seconds for us, as the results of their efforts are revealed.
Those involved have set goals such as drastic weight loss, finding love, overcoming a stammer and having a baby.
However, all of their goals are attempted by them and them alone, with no help from the production team.

Viewers will have to wait and see how successful they were
The production team haven't helped them in any way. They've just said, 'off you go'
Speaking on Loose Women, Davina confirmed: "The production team haven't helped them in any way. They've just said, 'off you go'."
She added: "It is a tear-jerker. There's people that are in wheelchairs that want to walk their wives down the aisle.
"There's an amazing one tonight of a guy who wants to overcome his stammer."
It's the latest in a long line of high-profile projects for the 49-year-old, who has also recently released her first autobiography.
It's bound to be a tear-jerker as the inspirational journeys are revealed
"It's about letting a bit more into the open and you feel a bit vulnerable," she said of the release.
Lisa Riley told her: "I could not put it down. You do put a lot out there but the brutal honestly over such a phenomenal career is so inspiring to read."
