Death In Paradise's Ralf Little returns to the spotlight with an exciting new TV adventure tonight.

Ralf Little is gracing television screens, starring with long-time friend Will Mellor in their new series, Will and Ralf Should Know Better. The dynamic duo will be putting their endurance and wits to the test in this evening's instalment of their programme.

To kick things off, they're off to Wrexham where they meet Rebecca, who coaches them to attempt a deadlift of a 33 stone car and frame. The journey continues to Runcorn, the filming location of their beloved series 'Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps', with the pub now housing a Buddhist Temple.

Here, Ralf and Will embark on a quest for inner peace. The pair also gear up for a challenging Hostile Environment Training exercise - but will they emerge unscathed?

Ahead of the broadcast, Will shared an insight with Radio Times about their motivation behind the series. He explained: "We wanted to put ourselves in positions where we wouldn't normally to see how we'd turn out."

He continued, detailing their bond: "Me and him [Little] have known each other for a long time, so it meant we didn't have to fake a friendship ... I am much more open than he is, and that's why I think our friendship works. Because we're so different as people, and that's why the podcast [Two Pints with Will and Ralf] works, and hopefully people will enjoy what we do in this show, because we are very different people."

Ralf, who is also recognised for his role as DI Neville Parker in Death In Paradise, left the Caribbean-based series earlier this year. Despite not wanting to leave, he confessed that it was the correct decision.

"This last series was always going to be my last series, I had talks with the BBC, and with Red Planet, the production company and we all agreed that it just felt... if it was in my heart, like if it was just a heart decision, I'd have wanted to do it for 20 more years. But just for the show, and... for my character Neville, it just sort of felt like his story... it deserved to be sort of finished and his sort of journey... sort of deserved to be completed and he deserved a nice happy ending and so it just felt right," he revealed on BBC Breakfast.

Will & Ralf Should Know Better airs tonight (October 7th) on U&Dave at 10pm.
