Loose Women respond to Ched Evans family's complaints over Gloria Hunniford swipe
FOLLOWING reports that Loose Women received a complaint from the family of footballer Ched Evans, Ruth Langsford has issued an apology for comments made by the panel on Monday.

Evans had been serving a five year prison sentence after being charged for raping a 19-year-old woman in 2012, but was cleared earlier this month.
During today's instalment of the ITV talk show, Langsford told viewers: "We received a complaint from Ched Evans. We are happy to reiterate that Mr. Evans was acquitted after a jury unanimously found him not guilty after considering the issue of consent."
Their response comes after the Chesterfield striker's family said they were "considering their legal options" over comments made on the chat show.
After Evans' acquittal, Gloria Hunniford fumed: “I have to say, and this is my personal opinion of course, it shows the type of man he is though because the facts of the case.

"The mere fact that his mate goes 'I’ve got a girl, you know, do you want to come' and he goes there and they have a threesome and two blokes are outside the window filming it. And he never says a word to the girl and then he gets down the fire escape and then leaves and this girl apparently, as it turns out, was so drunk. [...]
“Ched Evans would be the last person I’d be sending my grandchildren to for any kind of sex education or drink education."
Evans' family swiftly hit back by accusing Hunniford of “misrepresenting the evidence presented at Cardiff Crown Court in this respect”.
“Ched has always acknowledged his behaviour was morally unacceptable but consensual,” the statement read. “His family are now actively considering their legal options.

At the time, a spokesperson for Loose Women said: “We've received a complaint from the father of Ched Evans' partner, to which we are responding.”
