‘Who the f*** is Gail Rodwell?’ This Morning stung by fans over Coronation Street clanger
THIS MORNING viewers fumed at their television sets today after noticing one huge Coronation Street blunder.
This Morning mix up Helen Worth with her character Gail
Helen Worth appeared on the daytime talkshow today ahead of the soap’s explosive week which sees David Platt’s life hang in the balance.
However, as clips of the action unfolding played out on screen, the audience at home ended up paying more attention to the 65-year-old’s title card which referred to the star as her on-screen character Gail Rodwell.
What’s more, the banner claimed the soap icon played Gail McIntyre – just one of the character’s various previous marital names.
In turn, the audience at home were swift to pick up on the mighty mishap and did not hesitate to highlight the blooper on Twitter.

The veteran, who has played Gail on the Street for more than 40 years, also paid tribute to actress Jean Alexander who played Hilda Ogden and died aged 90 last week.
“She loved the character of Hilda,” Helen beamed. “She loved playing Hilda for all those years, and sometimes she’d make herself laugh! She’d just chuckle away and she was just adorable.
“An ultimate actress. To go from the three rollers to the dignified lady that she was… just wonderful.”
