Vicky Pattison squirms as Alex Cannon reacts to her 'love'... and then talks Evelyn Ellis
LOOSE WOMEN became awkward today when Vicky Pattison was faced with her best friend Alex Cannon, whom she recently admitted to being in love with.
Alex Cannon and Vicky Pattison go way back - and met again on Loose Women
Alex, who has just competed on Big Brother, met Vicky while they were working on a separate TV show, and the pair immediately struck up a close bond.
However, whilst competing on the Channel 5 programme, Vicky revealed that she had fallen for him - and the pair talked through their feelings face-to-face live on the ITV lunchtime show today.
Unfortunately for Vicky, however, Alex is already embroiled in a low-level romance with Evelyn Ellis, his Big Brother ex-housemate.
Flanked by Kaye Adams, Coleen Nolan and Linda Robson, the duo discussed whether or not they could ever take their relationship up a gear considering the damage it could do to their friendship.

I care about you more than I've ever cared about anyone
"I don't know how you feel - maybe I should have spoken to you before!" Vicky said.
"I care about you more than I've ever cared about anyone. I suppose with all of my boyfriends, it has ruined things. We've never been friends afterwards."
Alex agreed: "If we go for it and it failed…"
The other panelists then brought up Evelyn and asked Alex how he felt about her - but he deflected the question to Vicky.
"It's daytime TV, Alex…" she said, before backtracking: "She's a lovely girl."

Vicky admitted she'd fallen for Alex
"I'll see her, we'll go for a drink or something," Alex added while Vicky visibly squirmed. "I think it was made out to be more than it was. I didn't see it as anything more."
"She really fancied you," Coleen said. "She was getting right on my wick because I've got to be on Vicky's side."
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
